JEE Main 2020 exam last day: BTech (Paper 1) to be conducted in both shifts

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting Joint Entrance Examination Main, or JEE Main 2020, BE/BTech (Paper 1) for the last day on September 6. The JEE Main exam will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the afternoon/second shift will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. JEE Main 2020 is being conducted across 660 centres in India and abroad.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2020 entrance exam by following strict health protocols. All the JEE Main test takers must follow these protocols while taking the exam. They must readΒ JEE Main 2020 exam day instructions and guidelinesΒ released by NTA.
NTA released these fresh instructions were released along with the JEE Main 2020 admit card on August 17, 2020. The guidelines mentioned on the JEE Main 2020 hall ticket are mandatory to be followed by examination centres' and each student.Β The exam authorities are providing fresh face masks to the candidates before entering the examination hall. The exam hall venue is sanitized before and after each shift. To maintain distance, rough sheets are placed at seats before the start of the examination.
JEE Main 2020 result for April/September exam is expected to be declared on September 10. Aspirants, who qualify in the JEE Main exam will be able to apply for JoSSA counselling -for admission to IIITs, NITs and GFTIs. The top 2,50,000 candidates of JEE Main will be able to appear for JEE Advanced 2020, for admission to 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
JEE Main 2020 entrance examination, for admission to engineering courses such as BE/BTech/BArch/BPlanning in participating institutions, started on September 1, 2020. According to official information released by the exam authority, over 8 lakh candidates registered for JEE Main 2020 April/September session exam. The exam is held twice a year in two sessions, January and April. JEE Main is India's one of the biggest engineering exams and a gateway to take admission to IITs/NITs.
