JEE Main 2020: Bombay HC refuses to stay on JEE Main examination
The Bombay High Court has refused the plea seeking a stay on holding JEE Main exam, that begun today, i.e. September 1, 2020, across the country, and said that any student who is residing in flood-hit parts of Maharashtra's Vidarbha region who is not able to reach to the exam centre or reaches late can apply to the National Testing Agency to seek a re-examination.

Education Minister has shared that according to NTA, 7.5 lakh out of 8.58 lakh candidates have downloaded the JEE Main 2020 admit card which shows candidates want to appear in the examination at any cost. He added, "JEE exam centres have been increased to 660 from 570 while there are now 3,842 NEET centres, up from 2,546 for the convenience of students. Students have also been allotted exam centres of their choice".

Through a press release, NTA has confirmed that the number of JEE Main 2020 exam centres have been increased from 570 to 660. More than 99% of candidates are given their first choice of exam centre.
