JEE Main 2024 April 6 Live Updates: Shift 1 & 2 Question Paper PDF, Exam Analysis, Students Reactions

Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall at 7:20 a.m. The reporting time to enter the JEE Main 2024 examination hall for Shift 1 is from 7:20 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 (April 8, Shift 1) will start at 9 a.m. All the best!

April 8 is the Day 4 of the JEE Main 2024 April Session. Entry to the examination hall will start at 7:20 AM. The JEE Main 2024 Shift 1 exam will start at 9 AM. 

The rxam conducting authority allows eatables and drinks including water bottles inside the exam centre for diabetic patients. The concessions are given to diabetic candidates keeping their health conditions in mind. Diabetic students must carry the following things inside the examination hall:

• Fruits
• Sugar tablets
• Transparent water bottle

Note: Candidates will not be allowed to carry packaged foods such as chips/chocolate/sandwiches etc.

Candidates can check the list of all items prohibited inside exam hall.

• Pencil/Geometry Box or any other stationery
• Handbag
• Purse
• Any kind of paper or printed material
• Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
• Electronic items and instruments such as Mobile Phone, Ear Phone, Microphone, Pager, Calculator
• Instruments such as DocuPen, Slide Ruler, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder
• Any type of watch including electronic watches with a calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall/room

If a candidate goes for bio-break or toilet then he or she should undergo the mandatory frisking and biometrics again.

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 April 8 exam Shift 1 at 9 am at various centres across the country. April 8 is the Day 4 of the JEE Main 2024 Session 2.

No. The syllabus of AEEE is not same as JEE. Candidates must note that AEEE and JEE Mains are two different exam meant for different purposes. AEEE is conducted for admission to B.Tech courses in campuses of Amrita University while JEE Mains is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs.

National Testing Agency conducts JEE Main exam in a total of 13 languages. The languages in which paper is conducted are Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi English and Gujarati.

JEE Main session 2 answer key 2024 by NTA will be released tentativey on April 13. JEE Main Answer Key 2024 session 1 was released on February 6. NTA first released the provisional JEE Main 2024 answer key which was also open for challenge. In case any candidate is not satisfied with the answers given in JEE Main 2024 provisional answer key session 1, he/she can submit the grievance online by login to the website. After reviewing the challenges, NTA released JEE Main final answer key.

NTA will soon release the JEE Main 2024 answer key session 2 at the official website. Applicants will be allowed to raise objections in the JEE Main answer key session 2 till a specified time. After reviewing all the objections, NTA will release the JEE Main 2024 final answer key along with the declaration of the results.
