NTA has released the JEE Main Session 2 Admit card 2025 for April 2, 3, and 4 exam date. JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 admit card download link has been activated on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The jee mains admit card for April 7, 8, and 9 will be available soon. Candidates have to login to the website to downlaod their admit card. JEE Main Session 1 admit card 2025 was released on January 18.

To download the JEE Main admit card, candidates need their JEE Main application number and date of birth. JEE Main exam has three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Question paper of JEE Main is prepared with questions from all the three subjects with equal weightage of 33%. A total of 90 questions are asked in the exam, 30 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus of JEE Mains for all three subjects is as per the CBSE/NCERT textbook of class 11 and 12.

Candidates can appear in JEE Main irrespective of their percentage in class 12. The requirement of percentage is for admission in the institute not for appearing in JEE Mains.

Candidates obtaining a higher Percentile Score in Mathematics will be ranked higher

• If a tie still exists, the candidate with a higher Percentile Score in Physics will be given a higher rank

CRL stands for the Common Rank List. NTA releases the cutoff in several categories one of which is CRL. CRL means unreserved category. Candidates belonging to the unreserved category need to have a JEE Main cutoff equal to or greater than the CRL cutoff. The other categories for which the cutoff is released are Gen-EWS, Open-PwD, OBC-NCL, SC and ST.

The safe scores are lower for reserved categories (OBC, SC, ST, EWS). However, cutoffs change each year based on difficulty, so always aim higher.

A percentile above 90 is considered good. For top NITs, aim for 98–99.5+ percentile.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2025 exam date session 2. JEE Main 2025 session 2 will be held from April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 for Paper 1 (BTech) and April 9 for BArch and BPlan. JEE Main 2025 session 2 registration is closed. JEE Main Application form 2025 session 2 was available on jeemain.nta.nic.in. What to wear:

• Wear simple, plain and comfortable clothes to avoid undergoing exhaustive checking

What not to wear:

• Avoid wearing clothes that have metal attached to them (underwired bras, belts etc)
• Avoid wearing any kind of jewellery or other accessories
• Do not wear long-sleeved clothes or attires/trousers with too many pockets/deep pockets

Candidates need to have passed any one of the following exams to appear for JEE Main 2025

JEE Mains Login 2025 is an online portal provided by the National Testing Agency for candidates registering for or appearing in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main). It allows candidates to access key information related to the JEE Mains exam, perform actions, and track updates related to the examination. The National Testing Agency has activated the JEE Mains Login window 2025 at jeemain.nta.nic.in to download the JEE Mains 2025 session 2 admit card.

The marking scheme of JEE Mains paper 1 is as follows -

 The JEE Main exam will have a total of 75 questions from all three subjects. The exam will have 25 questions each from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Out of 25 questions, 20 will be multiple choice questions and 5 will be questions with numerical value answers. Students need to answer all 5 numerical value type questions. Also all 20 multiple choices questions are compulsory and no choice is provided in them. Students need to complete all the 75 questions in 3 hours.

Yes, there is negative marking in JEE Mains. As per the exam pattern of JEE Main 2025 session 2, 4 marks would be awarded for every question answered correctly, while negative marking will be done for every incorrect answer. The deleted topics from the JEE Mains syllabus are

• Mathematics: Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning units have been removed.

JEE Mains session 2 Paper 1 consists of Class 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
