JEE Main 2026 Session 1: Candidates appearing for JEE Main exam on January 28 and 29, 2026 are advised to reach their exam centres early, as National Testing Agency will be implementing Face Authentication along with Aadhaar based biometric verification at entry points. According to official information, this additional verification step has been introduced to strengthen JEE Main 2026 exam security and integrity. This will also ensure that exam is conducted fairly and transparently across all centres.

What Candidates Should Know about JEE Main 2026 Face Authentication and Aadhaar Biometrics?

Face Authentication will be conducted at JEE Main exam centre using live facial recognition. Aadhaar-based biometric verification fingerprint or IRIS, as applicable will also be carried out. Due to enhanced verification process, candidates are advised to arrive earlier than the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards to avoid delays or last-minute inconvenience.
