JEE Main 2026 Day 2 Exam: National Testing Agency successfully conducted JEE Main 2026 January 22 shift 1 exam, marking second day of session 1 exams. Now that shift 1 has concluded, candidates and experts have shared their initial reactions, helping candidates understand JEE Main Jan 22 shift 1 overall difficulty level and subject-wise analysis. Based on students reaction 190-200 marks will lead to 99 percentile. According to them, Maths and Chemistry was easy this year. However, Physics was tough. JEE Main 2026 shift 1 Jan 22 paper was overall easier but lengthy.

Based on early feedback from students, overall difficulty level of JEE Main 2026 day 2 shift 1 was reported to be lengthy but easy, with a balanced mix of easy, moderate, and a few challenging questions. While well-prepared candidates found JEE Main Jan 22 paper manageable, time management played an important role, especially in Mathematics.

Physics: JEE Main shift 1 Physics was considered moderate to tough by most candidates. Questions were formula based with direct questions from NCERT syllabus. Topics such as mechanics, current electricity and modern physics had weightage.

Chemistry: Chemistry was scoring section in JEE Main shift 1 Jan 22 exam. Physical Chemistry questions were mostly numerical but straightforward. Many students noted that direct theory based questions made this section less time taking.

Mathematics: JEE Main Mathematics was rated easy. Questions were lengthy. Topics such as calculus, algebra, and coordinate geometry had more questions.
