JEE Main 2026: National Testing Agency conducted day 5 Jan 28 shift 1 exam. It has been reported by candidates in Kota that they faced technical issues at several exam centres. Those who appeared for JEE Main 2026 Jan 28 exam this morning reported that system and network glitches began emerging from multiple venues. However, those affected by this problem were compensated with additional time to complete their tests. JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam is scheduled for two shifts on January 28, the first shift running from 9 AM to 12 PM and the second from 3 to 6 PM for BE and B.Tech papers.

Kota Candidates Reported Glitches During JEE Main 2026 Jan 28 Shift 1 Exam
According to initial candidate reactions shared on social media, some of them faced technical issues in computers or network systems mid exam, slowing down their progress and preventing them from completing paper. As per initial reaction, the overall JEE Main 2026 Jan 28 paper for shift 1 difficulty was moderate. Maths was the most difficult and Physics and Chemistry were moderate. The overall paper was lengthy; however, as compared to toughest shift (Jan 23 Shift 2), this was easier. Candidates also struggled with time management.
