The NTA is conducting day 3 of JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam today, August 31. The JEE Main 31 August 2021 paper is conducted in two shifts, morning shift from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and second shift from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm. In both shifts, Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech will be held. JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 is scheduled to be held on September 2. JEE Main Today Paper Analysis - August 31 Shift 2
The second shift of JEE Main 31 August 2021 paper was moderate to difficult, as reported by most students who had appeared in the exam. In terms of subject-wise difficulty, Maths was most difficult, followed by Physics and Chemistry. The detailed subject-wise JEE Main 31 August 2021 shift 2 paper analysis will be provided here soon.
Physics: Physics section was moderate. Questions came from topics like electrostatic, AC, thermodynamics, diode, etc. Two questions from the semiconductor topic were challenging. Electrostatic, Alternating current, Thermodynamics, Semiconductors, Magnetism, EM Waves, Thermal conductivity.
Chemistry: Chemistry was easy as usual. Questions were asked from topics such as chemistry in ionic equilibrium, chemical kinetics, polymers, etc. Questions came from organic chemistry mostly. There were three questions were asked from p-block elements, two from magnetism, optics, Organic, name reaction, p-block, Equilibrium and Mettalurgy.
Mathematics: Maths was moderate and lengthy & time-consuming. Some of the topics were differential calculus, coordinate, circle, parabola, integration, reasoning, differential equation.

As per initial reaction from students who appeared in JEE Main 31 August shift 1 paper, the overall difficulty level of exam was moderate. Mathematics was a bit difficulty and lengthy while Physics was moderate followed by Chemistry. In Physics section, questions were asked almost from all topics of class 11 and 12. Questions were asked from Electrochemistry and Semiconductor. Chemistry was easy and many questions were asked from Organic and Inorganic part while Physical part was less asked.
Physics: The Physics section was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Semiconductor, Communication, Electrostatic, Logic Gate, Transistor, Modern Physics.
Chemistry: It was easiest of all three section. Organic was having high weightage, Bio-molecules, P-block, name reactions, polymers
Mathematics: The Maths sections was moderate to difficulty but easy than previous attempts. More questions were asked from class 12 part Integration, Differentiation, Definite and Indefinite Integrals, Calculus, Parabola, Bionomial
Memory Based JEE Main 31 August 2021 Shift 1 Question Paper - Physics
The NTA will declare JEE Main result 2021 for session 4 on or before September 10. It is because registrations for JEE Advanced 2021 is scheduled to start from September 11. The JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam will end on September 2. JEE Main answer key 2021 is most likely to be released by September 5 post which 2-3 days will be provided for candidates to raise objections in the answer key.
JEE Main 2021 result for session 4 will also have All India Rank of candidates and cutoff percentile score. Candidates who scores above the JEE Main cutoff 2021 will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced exam.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Timings Session 4- August 31
NTA JEE Main 2021 August 31 paper will be conducted in two shifts - morning and evening. JEE Main session 4 exam 2021 shift 1 timings are from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and shift 2 exam will be held from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Qualifying Percentile for JEE Mains 2021 (Expected)

JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 Session 4
The NTA will be conducting JEE Main 2021 paper 2 exam on September 4. JEE Main paper 2 is held for B.Arch and B.Plan courses. In 2021, JEE Main paper 2 is scheduled only in two out of four session. The first session of JEE Main 2021 paper 2 was held in February while the next session will be held on September 2.
JEE Main 2021 August 31 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates who are appearing on day 3 of JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam have been issued exam day guidelines through JEE Main Admit card 2021. Candidates need to follow the instructions and COVID-19 protocols as mentioned in the admit card.

Candidates need to bring their own geometry box, pencil, eraser and other required items for drawing part of JEE Main 2021 Paper 2A.

Candidates should report to the exam centre only as per the reporting time mentioned in their JEE Main Admit card 2021

Candidates should avoid social gathering at the exam centre and maintain a distance of 6-feet with each other all the time

Face maks, hand gloves and sanitizers are to be carried by the candidates

August 31, 08:45 AM: Gates to the exam centre have been closed. The gatekeepers are however allowing late comers to enter inside the exam hall.
August 31, 08:30 AM: Entry inside the exam hall is closed.
August 31, 08:15 AM: Students are entering the exam hall. Frisking is being done through hand held metal detectors.
August 31, 08:00 AM: Gates of exam centre have been opened. Students are asked to remove their face mask as fresh 3-ply mask i being provided at the time of entry. Temperature of candidates is being checked through Thermo Guns.
