NTA was declared the JEE Main 2020 result on January 17. Read the article below to know the details.

JEE Main 2020 result to be declared early

JEE Main 2020 result – With JEE Main 2020 exam to be end on, January 9, 2020, and the result was declared on January 17, 2020

The exam conducting authority i.e. the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result ahead of the official dates for the declaration of JEE Main result 2020 for January session which was January 31. But the result of JEE Main 2020 was over and candidates can check it now.

Latest:

In 2019, first session (January) of JEE Main was conducted from January 8-12 in different slots and the JEE Main result was announced on exactly seven days after the exam was over i.e. January 19. This year, the exam is going to be over today i.e. January 9. In line with last year's trends, the NTA is expected to announce the JEE Main 2020 result between January 16-20.

It is recommended that students must check the official website of JEE Main regularly so that they don’t miss the announcement of JEE Main result declaration. Till the result declaration, candidates can check their probable score by matching the answers marked by them in the exam with the answer keys released so far. It is to keep in mind that the probable score may or may not differ from the actual score.

Another key point here is that the NTA has made a declaration for announcing the result of JEE Main paper-2 late, last year. For 2020, there is no such declaration so it is possible the JEE Main paper-2 result may be announced along with the result of paper-1.

JEE Main result 2020 will be announced online in the form of a percentile score calculated after the normalisation of marks obtained by candidates in the exam. To check the result, candidates will need to log-in to the official website with JEE Main 2020 Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.

JEE Main 2020 result and scorecard will comprise the subject-wise percentiles and overall percentile for all the candidates who appeared for the exam. The NTA will also announce the JEE Main 2020 cut off for admission to different institutes across the country.

The NTA scorecard of JEE Main 2020 will also comprise the details like the aspirant's name, roll number, DOB (Date of Birth), his/her parent’s name, category, state code of eligibility, along with the score.
