Added Pressure on Class 12 Students
Most of the JEE Main 2026 aspirants are also appearing for their Class 12 board exams conducted by boards such as CBSE and various state boards. With board exams already ongoing, students stand to face double pressure and remain anxious over their performance.
Students are not only worried about their percentile and rank but also about eligibility for JEE Advanced and admission to top engineering colleges. Both the JEE Mains result and performance in the board exams are used to determine eligibility for JEE Advanced and admission to NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions. Without clarity on scores and percentiles, students are unable to plan their next steps. Students need clarity to plan their preparation for JEE Advanced or focus entirely on board exams.
