The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the revised JEE Main 2026 result date as ‘By February 16’. The result is yet to be announced. This delay has created confusion and stress among 13 lakh aspirants who appeared for the JEE Mains January session exam on January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28.

Both the JEE Mains result and performance in the board exams are used to determine eligibility for JEE Advanced and admission to NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions. Without clarity on scores and percentiles, students are unable to plan their next steps. Students need clarity to plan their preparation for JEE Advanced or focus entirely on board exams.
