Established by the Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust, MGM University is a self-financed, state university. The University is approved by the Government of Maharashtra under MGM University Act 2019. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission of India.
MGM University comprises seven faculties, Engineering & Technology, Management & Commerce, Basic & Applied Sciences, Social Sciences & Humanities, Law, Design and Performing Arts, which have been conceived to bring allied disciplines within a broad framework of inclusive entities - Colleges, Institutes, Centres and Gurukul. Together, the constituent institutions of MGM University offer over 360 programs for students in Degree, Diploma and PhD, along with Short Term and Certificate programs for upskilling and improving employability in specific areas.
