Registrations for MAH CET Counselling 2020 is expected to begin in October. Check details like eligibility, cut off, category, process and fees.

MAH CET 2020 Counselling

Maharashtra State CET has announced that the counselling process for admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by state colleges and universities is proposed to begin in the month of October.

In an official notice released on September 16, the State CET has said that it plan to conduct the further admission process following the MAH CET 2020 result declaration in May in October, after the declaration of final year graduation results by the state colleges and universities.

Normally, the MAH CET Counselling or Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is conducted in July but this year, it was deferred indefinitely due to COVID-19 pandemic and delay in other academic activities across India. The MAH CET counselling process is a month long process, which includes online registrations, round-wise declaration of cut offs and merit lists and submission of documents at counselling centres.

The MAH CET CAP is conducted for admission to about 400 management institutes including JBIMSSIMSREEK J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research and PUMBA. The online registration fees is Rs 1,000.

Eligibility Criteria for MAH CET CAP

Maharashtra State Candidature

(1) The candidate should be an Indian National.

(2) The candidate must have passed 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 50 per cent in aggregate from a recognized university (at least 45 per cent for candidates belonging to backward class and PwD categories belonging to Maharashtra State only)

(3) The candidate must have obtained more than zero score in MAH CET 2020

All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate

(1) The candidate should be an Indian National.

(2) The candidate must have passed 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 50 per cent aggregate from a recognized university.

(3) The candidate must have obtained more than zero score in MAH CET/CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT/ATMA/XAT.

NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries

(1) The candidate should have passed minimum 3-year duration Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent, awarded by the University recognised by UGC or AIU.

(2) Any other criterion declared by the State CET as defined under the Act.
