After the MAH MBA CET result announcement the State CET will conduct common counselling for admission to about 300 colleges in Maharashtra, most likely in July-August. Qualifying candidates will be required to participate in MAH CET counselling for admission to participating MBA colleges in Maharashtra by filling the online counselling form. The MAH MBA CET counselling process will be conducted in two or three rounds and will be based on cut offs. Candidates will be allotted seat in the college of their choice, if they meet the minimum cut off percentile of that college.

The counselling will be held for mainly two categories – Maharashtra State candidates and All India candidates. Separate merit lists will be released for these two categories. To be eligible for MAH CET counselling candidates need to score more than 0 in MBA CET exam.

To get admission in a two-year MBA at NMIMS Mumbai, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates with a UG degree passed with minimum 50% to 55% aggregate can apply. Admission to MBA is based on a valid score of NMAT entrance exam. For final selection, performance in competency test and PI is considered.

MAH MBA CET 2024 dates were announced by the Maharashtra State CET Cell in December 2023. The announcement was made by the examination body at it's Twitter (X) handle. It is tough to say that as there is no set pattern of sectional weightage in MAH CET anymore. Since the last two years, the number of questions for each section of the exam, varies for every slot. Meaning that, if in one slot there are 75 questions on LR and 25 AR, in the second slot there can be 60 questions on LR and 40 questions on AR. Similarly, there could be 50 questions on QA in one slot but in the next slot it could be 40. The total number of questions remain 200 in all the slots but the sectional weightage changes. So, one can really not prepare for the exam with the target of scoring maximum in a particular section. They need to prepare for all sections as any section can have maximum questions and the potential to score maximum.
