MAH CET MBA cut offs for Round 3 admissions have been released. Th e highest cut off for any college in Round 3 is also for JBIMS Mumbai at 99.99 percentile. Last year the highest MBA CET cut off for the saame institute was 99.98 percentile for JBIMS. The second highest cut off this year in CAP Round 3 is for SIMSREE at 99.96 percentile, 0.1 percentile lower than Round 1 and Round 2. For Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research Mumbai, the MBA CET cut off has risen from 99.92 percentile in Round 2 to 99.93 percentile in Round 3. Factors Determining MAH MBA CET Cut Offs

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducts admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by state universities and affiliated institutes on the basis of MAH CET exam score. For selection of candidates, the participating institutes fix a score or range of scores, which is referred to as cut off. MAH CET cut offs are determined on the basis of the following factors:

  • Difficulty level of MAH CET exam

  • Number of candidates who appeared in the exam

  • Number of candidates who cleared the exam

  • Number of MBA/MMS seats available in the participating institutes

  • Number of seats available in the participating institutes category-wise
  • Ranking of the MAH CET participating institute

What is MAH CET Centralised Admission Process (CAP)?

Once the MAH MBA CET result is announced, the candidates are required to fill up the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) form on the basis of their MAH CET score and percentile to participate in the admission process. The Maharashtra State CET Cell will release MBA CET CAP Round 2023, provisional merit list after which the round wise merit list and MBA CET cut offs 2023 will be released. 

Given below are a few points to remember viz. the CAP:

  • The counselling or MAH MBA CET CAP round is an online process and is conducted through the State Common Entrance Test Cell

  • Qualifying candidates are required to participate in the CAP by filling up an online application form. This process takes place in June-July

  • Thereafter, the candidates are required to get their documents verified at the Facilitation Centre (FC)

  • Once the CAP registration is over, the provisional merit lists are released category wise and round wise. Candidates are then required to fill up the Confirmation of Online Option Form to indicate their preferred course and institute.

  • The lists of provisional allotment of CAP Round I, II, and III are then released indicating allotted institute and course

  • The candidates are required to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) to accept the seat offered and complete the admission process

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra uploads round wise and category wise MAH MBA CET cut offs on its official website during the CAP process. The MAH CET MBA 2024 cut offs will be released during the CAP 2024 which is likely to be held in July 2024. MAH CET cut offs include only the overall cut offs on the basis of which seats are allotted to candidates during the counselling process. Candidates do not have to meet any sectional cut off to be eligible for admission into a particular MBA college. MAH CET cut offs 2024 will be declared up to two or three counselling rounds. The MAH CET MBA counselling 2024 will be conducted for over two months during which the cut offs will be declared. Cut off percentiles of students belonging to different categories will be different. The category specific cut offs will be released by the State CET separately. Candidates belonging to reserved category must check and choose their college accordingly.

The MAH MBA CET application form is not released offline. Candidates have to fill the online application form only. There is no provision of submitting the application form offline either.
