NEET 2023 application form process is expected to start soon, by the fourth week of February. Although there has not been any official announcement made by the National Testing Agency (NTA), but NTA Chief Vineet Joshi has been quoted by a noted media house stating that the NEET 2023 application forms will be released soon. NEET 2023 will be conducted on May 7 for a duration of 200 minutes in over 500 cities across India and abroad. Around 18 lakh candidates are expected to apply for the exam.
As of now, apart from the exam date, no other date has been announced yet. This has made aspirants anxious about the status of the NEET 2023 application form. However, since the application process for other exams such as CUET and JEE Main Session 2 is already underway, it is expected that the NEET application form 2023 will also be out soon. Instructions for Uploading Signature at NEET 2023 Application
Candidates should follow the below instructions while uploading the signature in the NEET 2023 application form:
- The candidate should put his full signature in running handwriting [not in the capital letter] on white paper with a Black Ink pen and scan for uploading.
- File size must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
- The unsigned Online Application Forms will be rejected.
- In case someone else’s signature has been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered as an Unfair Means Case. Criminal action as per the laws of the land shall also be initiated.

Reasons For Candidate Photo Rejection at NEET 2023 Application Form
The following factors must be taken care of while uploading the photograph to the NEET 2023 application form:
- The photograph must be clicked on or after January 1, 2023.
- The photograph must be taken against a white background.
- At least 80 per cent of the face and ears should be clearly visible.
- Photographs should not be taken while wearing cap or goggles. Spectacles would be allowed only if worn regularly but the eyes should be clearly visible.
- Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.

Is it Mandatory to Fill in the NEET 2023 Application Form at One Go?
No, it is not mandatory to fill and submit the NEET 2023 application form in one go. They can complete and save one or more sections and then exit and come back later to continue filling the NEET 2023 application form. In general, the NEET application window lasts around 30 to 45 days. This is followed by an application correction window and admit card. Given the fact that there are around three months left for the exam and NTA official has stated that the NEET 2023 application form will be released by February end. Entering OTPs while Filling the NEET 2023 Application Form
While filling the NEET 2023 application form, candidates' mobile number and email IDs will be verified. Candidates opting for Hindi or regional language NEET question papers will be provided Bilingual Test Booklet i.e. in Hindi/Regional Language and in English. In case of any ambiguity in the translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final. Validity of OTP While Filling NEET 2023 Application Form
While filling the NEET 2023 application form, candidates will have to submit two OTPs, during registration process and towards the end of the form, to validate their email id. The Online Transaction Passwords or OTPs will be valid only for 15 minutes. After the lapse of this period, candidates need to click on the link “RESEND OTP” to generate a new OTP.

Penalty for Submitting Duplicate NEET Application Form
In case a candidate submits multiple NEET application forms, he/she will have to bear a penalty. Regarding this, NTA mentions, "If at any stage, including after declaration of result, it is found that the candidate has submitted duplicate forms or has been involved in any form of impersonation or fabricated facts, such candidate shall be liable for severe penalty including being debarred from taking the NTA examination for a period of three years. Such candidates shall also be liable for suitable criminal action under the relevant laws of the country."

Candidates Should Submit One Form for NEET 2023
Candidates should submit only one NEET 2023 application form. If a candidate submits more than one form, his/her candidature will be cancelled. NTA has stated, "If during any stage of examination, any doubt arises that a candidate has filled in multiple forms or impersonated or not provided genuine information or given fake or false, information or the likes such a candidate can be asked to give additional proof of his identity at any point of time."

NEET 2023 Frequency
The NEET exam is conducted once a year. It is expected that NEET 2023 will also be conducted once. However, students and other stakeholders are demanding that NEET be held twice a year. NEET information brochure refers to a comprehensive and descriptive document or a handbook regarding the exam. Candidates are advised to take 6-8 Passport size and 4-6 Post Card size (4” X6”) coloured photographs with white background. What if I enter wrong email ID while filling NEET UG 2023 application form?
In case a candidate completes the NEET application form 2023 with an incorrect email address, he/she will not receive official email notifications. However, if the mobile number that you have registered on the NTA portal is correct, you will receive the same notification on your phone via SMS. NTA may allow candidates to change or correct their email addresses in the application correction window.
