Indian Air Force has released AFCAT (1) 2020 notification on November 23. Candidates can register between December 1 to 30.

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released short notification for AFCAT (1) 2020 exam on November 23 for the courses commencing in January 2021. The detailed notification along with the application form will be available on the official website on December 1. Candidates can register online for the exam till December 30. A total of 249 vacancies will be filled through AFCAT entry.

Any graduate candidates can apply for the exam. Candidates’ age for the  Flying branch is between 20 and 24 years while for Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) is between 20 to 26 years. AFCAT registration fee is Rs 250 for General, ST, SC, OBC which can be paid through credit card/debit card/internet banking.

How to fill AFCAT 2020 application form?

The steps to fill the application form of AFCAT is given below:

  • Candidates need to register for the exam by filling details like name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Email ID, Mobile number, Nationality and Secret question.
  • In the next step, candidates need to select the branch
  • Candidates need to fill the detailed AFCAT 2020 application form
  • Upload the scanned images of signature, photograph and thumb impression
  • Candidates need to pay the application fees

Candidates selected through AFCAT entry will be offered Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) & Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. The selection process includes - online test, AFSB Interview. Candidates will be paid a remuneration of Rs 56,100 – 1,10,700.
