Candidates must complete CTET form before deadline.

Once application window closes, CBSE will provide CTET application correction facility from December 23 to 26, 2025. However, they must avoid basic mistakes when filling out CTET February 2026 form. They must note that CTET correction window allows fixing some details and not all fields, so they must be careful when filling out registration form.

Common Application Mistakes to Avoid When filling CTET 2026 February Form

Some silly mistakes made by candidates have been given here

  • Filling the Wrong Paper Type: CTET has two papers: Paper I for teaching classes I to V and Paper II for teaching classes VI to VIII. Some candidates accidentally choose wrong paper. Before submission, confirm whether only one or both papers are needed.
  • Incorrect Personal Details: They must note that there must be no spelling errors or mismatch information from official documents.
  • Uploading blurry or wrong-format photos and signatures may lead to rejection.
  • Wrong Category or Certificate Mismatch: Selecting incorrect reservation category, if applicable can lead to fee calculation errors and even invalid applications.
  • Choosing same Language in Language I and II: CBSE CTET mandates that Language I and Language II must be different.
  • Forgetting to pay application fee on time: Even if CTET form is completed, failing to pay fee by last date means application will not be accepted.
Q:   When should I reach the CTET exam centre?
A:

Candidates must reach the CTET exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards. Candidates generally need to report at the test centre 120 minutes before the examination.

Q:   How can I check CTET exam city and date?
A:

Candidates can check the CTET exam city and date by downloading their pre-admit cards. The CBSE releases the CTET pre-admit card around 10 days before the exam. Candidates can access the CTET pre-admit card or exam city intimation slip by entering their application number and date of birth when it becomes available on the portal. On the other hand, the CTET admit card is released two days before the exam on the official website of the exam - ctet.nic.in informing the candidates about the allotted exam centre.

Q:   What if I reach the CTET exam centre after the test begins?
A:
If you reach the CTET exam centre after the test begins, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam. No candidate is allowed to enter the CTET exam centre after the exam begins. It may be noted here that the CTET exam begins exactly at the time mentioned in candidates' admit cards. Candidates should reach their centres before the reporting time to avoid any hassles.
