RRBs have released a notification about the refund of application fees for candidates who have appeared in RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 1 exam from Dec 28 to July 31. The link to update bank account details will be activated on August 11. SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender candidates will get a refund of Rs 250 while General/EWS/OBC categories will get Rs 400.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released notification about the refund of examination fees for candidates who have appeared in RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 1 exam (CEN 01/2019) from December 28 to July 31 in seven phases. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories are entitled to get full refund of their examination fees, which is Rs 250. Whereas, candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories will get a partial refund of their examination fees, which is Rs 400 (The application fees of RRB NTPC were Rs 500, however, after deducting the bank charges, Rs 400 will be refunded).

The link to update bank account details will be provided on the official websites of RRBs from August 11 to 31, 2021. Candidates will receive a refund of their application fees on their respective bank accounts. Therefore, candidates are advised to provide correct bank details. They should ensure that the bank account number, name, IFSC code are correct before submitting the details.

Email and SMS will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID and mobile number to provide their correct bank account details. Candidates are required to provide details of registration number, roll number, name, father’s name, community, Aadhaar number, registered mobile number, date of CBT, bank account holder’s name, bank account number, bank IFSC code, and bank name.

The process of refund will be initiated subject to the verification of candidates’ details as per the records with RRBs. Incorrect / incomplete/ late claims will be rejected. No refund will be provided to candidates if they fail to submit the bank account details. Only one refund per bank account will be allowed. The link for filling up of bank account details along with OTP (for login) will also be shared through SMS and email to the registered mobile numbers and email IDs.
