The first stage of RRB NTPC exam is over. The exam was held from December 28, 2020, to July 31, 2021, for over 1.20 crore candidates. Those who will qualify this exam are called to appear for the second stage computer-based test.

RRB_NTPC_2021_exam_over: What’s_next?

The first stage of RRB NTPC 2021 exam is over now. The exam was held from December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021. Approximately, 1.20 crore candidates had appeared for the exam. A total of 1.25 crore application forms were received against 35,208 vacancies. Candidates who will qualify the first stage of RRB NTPC exam will appear for the second stage of computer-based test.

RRB NTPC 2021 Exam Over for the First Stage: What's Next?

Now since the first stage of RRB NTPC exam is over. Candidates who have appeared for the first stage exam should take note of the following important points:

Exam fee refund

Candidates who have appeared in the RRB NTPC exam will be refunded the exam fee, partially or fully. While candidates belonging to the General category are entitled to get a partial refund of the exam fee, the rest of the candidates will get a total refund. RRBs will soon begin with the process of refunding the application/exam fees. Candidates will get a refund of exam fees on their respective bank accounts.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Answer Key

RRBs are expected to release the provisional RRB NTPC answer key PDF for CBT 1 between August 20 and 25. Along with the answer key, candidate response sheet, question papers and objection tracker will also be made available. To download RRB NTPC answer key, candidates need to enter user ID and password. Objections against the answer key can be raised by paying Rs 50. The final answer key is released after reviewing the objections submitted by the candidates.

Declaration of Result

RRB NTPC result 2021 for CBT 1 is expected to be released in September. Along with the result, the scorecard and RRB NTPC cutoff marks will also be released. The result will be available in PDF and displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The scorecard and cutoff can be downloaded by entering user ID and password. The scorecard displays the marks obtained by candidates as well as normalised scores.

Details on Second Computer Based Exam

RRBs will inform candidates about the exam dates of RRB NTPC second stage exam. RRB NTPC admit card, city intimation slip, travel pass and other details for the second stage exam will be released four days before the exam.

The final RRB NTPC post allotment depends on the CBT 1 and 2 scores, order of post preference, availability of vacancies in chosen zones. Candidates are required to enter their RRB NTPC post preferences while filling the application form. The eligibility attached to various posts are different.
