SSC GD Constable 2026 Admit Card TODAY Live Updates: Exam Date, Download Hall ticket Link @ssc.gov.in

SSC GD exam is held in three stages -

• Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME)

The Commission does not enforce a rigid, formal dress code for its exams. Candidates are advised to wear simple and comfortable attire to ensure a smooth and hassle-free security check.

It is advised to the candidate to reach the exam centre on time or before the scheduled time. If a candidate find himself running late due to some situation then he or she should not panic. Directly go to the gate and politely explain the situation to the security personnel or the exam centre officials and also get ready the SSC GD admit card.

To check your SSC GD 2026 exam centre, candidate need to visit the official website ssc.gov.in, log in with the registration number and password, and click on the "City Intimation Slip" link for the Constable (GD) 2026 examination. 

If a candidate faces any technical glitch during the exam including frozen screen or a non-responsive mouse, then they should immediately raise their hand to alert the nearest invigilator. He or she should not try to fix the issue yourself by restarting the computer or checking cables, as this is against the guidelines of the exam.

The SSC Central Region has added more sub-centres in UP and Bihar cities like Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Patna to accommodate the surge. If the SSC GD Admit Card 2026 shows a centre in a different city to the candidate than the first preference, it is may be due to the high density of applicants in that specific hub.

The Commission released the SSC GD 2026 City Intimation Slip on April 19 at ssc.gov.in. It allows candidates to check their exam city in advance.

 Candidates get to know the details of the allotted SSC GD exam centre through their individual admit cards. The SSC GD admit card contains the name and address of the allotted exam centre along with the centre code, reporting time and shift time. The GD Constable exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their choice filled in the online application form.

Candidates are advised to check the details carefully in SSC GD admit card. In case there are errors in the same, they should report to the examination authority. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent by post.

If any candidate is not able to download the SSC GD hall ticket, they must immediately contact the concerned regional or sub-regional office with proof of having submitted the SSC GD application form.
