CUET PG 2023 DAY 3: Slot-wise Question Paper Analysis, Timings, Expected Cutoff & Live Updates

All the candidates for shift 1 have entered the premises. Candidates can carry only the admit card and photo ID inside the exam centres. Parents and guardians have to wait for their wards outside. After entering the centre, they have to undergo registration, photo and biometric capture before they take their assigned seats. They are not allowed to touch the computer systems yet.

NTA, National Testing Agency is conducting the CUET PG 2023 examination. CUET PG 2023 is scheduled to be held from June 5, 2023 to June 17, 2023 for admissions to various PG courses in the participating universities across the nation. 

CUET PG 2023, the second day of the examination concluded successfully at nearly all the examination centres of CUET PG 2023. From day 1 and 3 shifts of the examination, it was found that the NTA has set the question paper of merely all the day 1 subjects as moderate. As asked by the candidates who have appeared in the examination today, students responded that Section A was easy to attempt and section B was moderate.

15 minutes are left for the first session of CUET PG 2023 to get over. By this time candidates must have answered the question which they know well. Candidates should by now wind up their test and revise the answers to the questions and revisit the marked for review questions.

The total duration of the CUET PG 2023 exam is two hours. Eligible PwD candidates may be given 40 minutes of compensatory time and the assistance of a scribe for the examination as per the guidelines of the Government of India. 

There is only one type of question asked in CUET PG. The question types and their descriptions are given below:

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): Each question has four choices with one correct answer

One hour of the CUET PG 2023 session 1 is over. The exam is underway at about 200+ test centres. By now, candidates must have completed half of their examination.

The examination is proposed to be held in 37 shifts in total. Each shift will be for two hours. The CUET (PG) – 2023 examination will be conducted for 157 subjects for 4,58,774 unique registered
candidates and 876908 total candidates. Candidates were given an option for choosing a maximum of 20 Test Papers / subjects

In the aptitude and reasoning section many questions were asked from mathematics section like- profit and loss%, Interest (Simple and compound interest), time- distance. Other topics in section A was English comprehension, GK and current affairs. The students who has mathematics in their graduation has found section A more easier than the students who has Biology subjects in their UG courses.

Coming to Section B analysis of chemistry paper, as per the students review the CUET PG 2023 Chemistry exam was found to be moderately difficult. Candidates can expect the lower cut-off as compared to last year's cut-off. Questions were asked from physical chemistry, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry.

They will check the candidates' names and date of birth and then the digital image and thumb biometrics will be done by them. On the success of the above-mentioned process, candidates will be allotted the desktop numbers and they are supposed to seat there and log in with their credentials.

CUET PG 2023 after arriving at the examination centre looks forward to the seating arrangement sheet which is provided by centre to cross-verify their roll numbers at the examination centre along with the location of the floor number and laboratory number.

While the Section I and Section II, consisting of the language and domain-wise questions are compulsory to attempt. On the other hand, the third section consisting of General Knowledge and aptitude questions is not compulsory to attempt unless it is the requirement of the programme the candidate has applied for.

The afternoon session or the Slot 2 of CUET PG 2023 is over now. Candidates need to ensure that they have submitted the test properly on the system and the rough sheets to the invigilators. They should not leave the centre unless instructed by invigilators. 

There are 10 minutes to go for the exam to end. Candidates should have completed the questions they have planned to attempt and revised their responses thoroughly. This is the time to revisit the marked-for-review questions and check for any headway to those. In case they still can't figure out the solution, it is time to leave those and submit.

CUET PG 2023 after arriving at the examination centre looks forward to the seating arrangement sheet which is provided by centre to cross-verify their roll numbers at the examination centre along with the location of the floor number and laboratory number. 

Candidates who are coming from different locations (than their allotted test centres) have started reporting to the exam centre from 11:00 AM onwards. The exam centre officials have not begun entry inside the examination hall yet. Only seating arrangements are available at the test centre location, no instructions provided by the exam centre officials yet.

CUET PG 2023 exam session 2 will start at 12:00 PM, therefore candidates must report 60-90 minutes before the scheduled time for the test commencement at the exam centre. This means that candidates can the test centre as early as 11:00 AM, and last entry to be allowed by the exam centre officials is 11:45 AM. However, candidates must try reaching the tets centres at least 1 hour before the exam timings. This will be helpful in getting timely details of seat allotment, and completing formalities like frisking by test centre officials. 

BEd Languages

The section 1 of the examination was general paper which was again sort of easy to solve. Candidates found the section 1 as easy one. Coming to the section 2 or section B, there were 75 questions which came from Domain knowledge of BEd Languages. Questions from this domain was found to be from different language subjects that the candidates have opted for in their application form. Questions from languages were asked from the following important topics:

Note: It was observed that this year for BEd Languages examination, Teaching Aptitude questions were not asked from the subject domain. However, teaching aptitude questions came in last year'sCUET PG 2023 examination.

The CUET PG 2023 shift 1 has concluded at 10.30 AM as per the schedule. Candidates have to do the final submission of the test and log out of the system. They must not leave the exam hall unless instructed to do so. They will have to submit the rough sheets before leaving the centre and must ensure to carry their personal belongings that they had deposited during the entry.

Test-takers can seek the help of invigilators assigned to their hall whenever they face any difficulty or challenge. • There will not be any sectional time limit for CUET PG 2023. There will be two sections of two hours duration. Candidates can attempt any section at any time, also they can shift to any question of different sections any time they want.

Candidates taking CUET PG 2023 must know how to answer the questions which are asked in the examination. While answering the questions, candidates can see multiple options displayed on the screen. If they know the answer they can mark the answer and move forward to another question. If they are confused with the answer they can mark it as Marked for the Review or else they can skip the skip if they don’t know the answer.

After the admit card and valid photo identity verification candidates will go under mandatory frisking where male and female candidates' security checking would be conducted. This step is taken to ensure that no malpractice is being followed. In case any barred item is found from candidates, they would not be allowed entry to the centre. After the checking, the candidates will go to their allotted laboratory number at the examination centre for CUET PG 2023. 

Candidates for CUET PG 2023 whose examination is scheduled for June 07, 2023 , shift 1, started entering to their respective examination centres.

CUET PG 2023 for the day will held from June 6, 2023 for admissions to various PG courses in the participating universities across the nation. The CUET PG 2023 examination is proposed to be held in 37 shifts in total.

The exam authority has not mandated any dress code for CUET PG 2023 candidates, and they can appear in any dress - formal or casual as they like. Only scarves, gloves, sunglasses, and caps will not be allowed inside the examination hall. Candidates must ensure to follow the instructions as provided on the admit card and by the test centre officials before the exam begins

The following objects or items have to be carried to the centre:

• One sanitiser bottle (small) Mask

• Drinking water in a transparent bottle

• A simple transparent pen(Blue/Black)

Candidates must note that the CUET PG admit card 2023 was available in online mode only and NTA did not send the same by post. It is one of the crucial documents to be preserved till the admission process is over. Test-takers had to submit one copy of the CUET PG admit card at the centre along with their rough sheet. Hence, they must have at least two copies of the admit card in reserve at any given point till the admission process is over.

1. The CUET -2022 will be Bilingual-English and Hindi or specific language where required.
    2. The Question Paper will be in Sanskrit only for Acharya, Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya Courses.
    3. Further in case of Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya the entire 100 questions of the question paper would be in Sanskrit language only.

NTA will generate the Score Card only. After that the admission exercise (including counselling) shall be handled by the participating University officials only.
Scores and candidate data would be shared with the Universities where the applicant has applied.

The CUET questions are objective and carries multiple choices (MCQs).

Changing the syllabus of CUET PG depends upon the examination authority. However, the chances are very less.The applicants of CUET PG 2023 can download and check the previous year's detailed syllabus of their applied programme in this page itself.

NTA in an official notification announced that, “Some of the candidates who may have not received their admit card for the above dates will get them in subsequent phases.” The CUET PG admit card 2023 can be downloaded by the candidates by visiting the official website; i.e. cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates must note that the CUET Hall Tickets have been released for the exams that are scheduled to be held from June 5 to June 8.
