Nursing Colleges in Banda - Courses, Fees, Admissions 2026, Cutoff, Placements

Nursing is a branch of Science that deals with taking care of the sick or elderly. It is an integral part of the healthcare sector. Nurses focus on providing services/care to individuals or communities and are responsible for creating an optimal environment for recovery.There are almost 400 Nursing colleges in Uttar Pradesh which provide full-time, Part- time and Distance/Correspondence nursing courses. Among these, 224 are Private, 26 are Public Private and the rest 17 are Public/Government. 

To take admission to a Nursing college in Uttar Pradesh, a candidate needs to fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• They must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects.
• General category candidates must have scored an aggregate of 50 percent or more in Class 12.

BSc in Nursing is a rewarding course for medical students. A nursing job ensures a steady and secure future. To be eligible for a BSc Nursing programme, you must have completed your 12 examinations in science. You can pursue a certificate in health administration or a full-fledged post-graduate degree.

As per CUET exam pattern, the subjects are divided into three sections as:

Section I- Languages 

Section II- Domain Subject

Section III- General Test

Candidates will get 60 minutes for each subject. Candidates will not be given extra time.

The numbers for choosing CUET subjects are five out of the 37 options available.

King George's Medical University is a goverment university which was established in 1905. The university is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and is approved by UGC, DCI, and MCI. King George's Medical University is a public university which is accredited with A Grade by NAAC. Being a public university. The fee for various courses is not very high. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships offered by the university.

Aligarh Muslim University conducts the application process for all the courses in online mode. Interested candidates can fill the application forms through the official website. The admissions to AMU are offered on the basis of valid entrance scores. Candidates must ensure the fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria. Integral University Lucknow, through several departments, gives PG- postgraduate, UG- undergraduate, PhD, & various other.. These courses are available across Nursing, Law, Engineering, & various other streams.

Yes, the Avadh Institute of Medical Technology and Hospital offers placement assistance to its students. Candidates can choose to qualify for CUET examination conducted by NTA in order to enroll in any of the courses of Rama University at Kanpur Uttarpradesh. However, the university also conducts it's own RUET- Rama University Entrance Test for the admissions of students.

It is mandatory to attempt either RUET or the respective entrance examination to enroll in any of the courses at this university. Candidates who wish to pursue BTech can qualify for the JEE Main and according to its score, the final merit would be prepared. Same goes with other courses like MBBS, where candidates must qualify for NEET and attain a decent score in it to able to proceed with the admission in Rama University.
