IIT JAM 2021 Admission Application Deadline Extended Till May 31

The last date to apply for the IIT JAM 2021 Admission process has been extended till May 31 from May 27. The admission application process had started on April 20 and the original application deadline was May 20, which was extended twice, till May 27 and further till May 31. The eligibility criteria for admission has also been relaxed by the officials. Candidates who have passed the IIT JAM 2021 exam conducted on February 14 will be eligible to apply for admission or the counselling process.

The notification on the official website of IIT JAM 2021 states, “In view of COVID-19, eligibility requirement for admission through JAM 2021 is relaxed to PASS in the qualifying degree for all categories.”

IIT JAM 2021 Admission Application Process

Candidates who have cleared the IIT JAM 2021 exam have to follow the below steps to complete the IIT JAM admission application process.

• Visit the IIT JAM official website

• Click on the ‘Student Portal’ tab or the link indicating the admission form

• Enter Enrolment ID/Email ID and password (generated during initial application)

• Click on Submit

The IIT JAM 2021 result was declared on March 20. As many as 5,89,69 test-takers appeared for the exam. IIT JAM scores are accepted by IITs and IISc Bangalore for their MSc and other postgraduate programmes and Integrated PhD.
