According to me, B.Com is best especially if you have basic knowledge taught in class 11th and 12th. Otherwise, you can go for other option. B.Com is best as it may create a pool of job opportunities like accountant, marketing etc. And, this will also help in doing any course like CA etc.

There are total 350 seats available in B.Com. in SD college, Chandigarh. Eligiblity required for B.Com. is that candidate must have commerce stream in 10+2. Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2.

Please see the difference between the qualifications required for PRT / TGT / PGT teachers. Essential Qualification for (PRT) Teacher: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
Essential Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) B.Ed Degree from a recognized University + Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
