Hello, I feel you are getting a little confused. Let me explain based on what I understood: You are doing Diploma and desire to do engineering in aircraft main. Right? Firstly Aircraft Maintenance Engineer & Aeronautical Engineer are two different entities. First is actually not an engineering course. Its not authorised by AICTE. But its equivalent to graduation and one gets opportunity to clear DGCA licence exam. This in turn enables one to get job in civilian airlines. I think you are looking for this. Normally eligibility is 12th but many institutes allow Diploma holders also to take admission. You need to check with your intended institute about this. Best wishes.

Hence, the scope of our work increases by manifolds, if we are flexible to work in any one of the areas of aerospace engineering.
