Hello Amit,
MLR being situated in Telangana, gives admissions based on ranking of EAMCET. However they have certain seats earmarked for management quota. You can bid for a seat from this quota. The institute has a reasonably good academic reputation.

Hello Rohit,
It's great to fulfill wishes of your mom but a word of caution, placements in aeronautical engineering branch are very poor. Majority of students end up seeking admission for MBA or ME. Knowing your middle class background, I would strongly recommend that you go for aircraft maintenance engineering or AME. It's a three year course and good opportunities for placements.

Aircraft engineers mainly deal with the construction, repair and maintenance of the aircraft in the technical level. Successful candidates after obtaining aircraft maintenance engineering license get ample employment opportunities in government airlines, private airlines, corporate and public/ private aviation organisation. Only an aircraft maintenance engineer can certify that the aircraft is fit for flying.

Hello Yuvraj, Entering maintenance of civilian aircraft is totally different field. It requires you to clear AME and then obtain DGCA licence. However with present branch, you can join maintenance field in armed Forces. Just keep track. All three forces recruit Aeronautical engineers every year.

Hello,
After completing AME course, one can opt to do MBA, or any other course which has graduation in any field as criteria. But fundamentally this is a skill imparting course and the student is expected to take up job in the aviation industry.
