Hello Yuvaraj,
Different colleges in Maharashtra offering aeronautical engineering branch have different entrance exams as the qualification. Actually, a very less number of private colleges offer this since placement is a big issue. However, with about 50K seats remaining unfilled across Maharashtra, you have good chances of admission if you can obtain a valid score. I am attaching a link that may be useful to you.

Hello Pratik, Eligibility for admission into aeronautical engineering branch is same as that for all other branches. In some states its 60% marks while others have it at 50% marks. For IITs or NITs, it is 75%. Marks. You will have to check on the website of "dte of tech edu" of your state for this.

Hello, Firstly, let me congratulate you for deciding to pursue graduation after completion of Diploma. Unfortunately every state has its own rules and regulations about this process of lateral admission. Normally there will be a matrix, wherein eligibility of different branches of Diploma for admission into different branches of engineering will be made available. I suggest that you have a look at this webpage of "dte of tech edu" of your state for detailed information.

Hello Abhay,
It is very nice to know your dream of pursuing engineering in aeronautical branch from Madras Institute of Technology. But unfortunately, majority of states in India restrict admissions to domiciles of the state and, hence it is almost impossible for students from other states to get admission. So is the case in Tamil Nadu. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about admissions in TN. https://www.shiksha.com/university/anna-university/exams/tnea

Hello Ajit, What branch is good for Bachelors degree and not is really moot point. In majority of cases we go by our past experience and decide since looking into future is quite difficult. Hence when the student passes out after almost four years of study he is faced with dramatically different situation. I would therefore advise you to select that branch which you like. Its invariably the best choice since you will do well academically which in turn get you good placements.
