Hello Ashish,
Engineering graduation is on a different plane than becoming AME. AE will get you jobs in areas of aviation research. It could be stepping stone for MBA or civil services exam. Recently, Infosys appointed an AE as it's CEO. On the other hand, AME along with license from DGCA will ensure job for you in an airline.

Hello Muralikrishnan,
In nutshell, during the study of aeronautical engineering, one learns different aspects of flying objects including aero-engines, avionics, etc, in detail. If you download syllabus you will know all. Best college is, of course, IIT Mumbai.

Hello Akash,
You have posted a very good question. The answer is actually very simple. Aeronautical engineering or any other engineering course is of four years duration as mandated by AICTE. One gets a degree in engineering after successful completion of course. However, on the other hand course offered by HPAI is of three years and it is not an engineering degree course. You will get B.Sc in aviation or similar. After this college enables you to obtain licence from DGCA to enable you to work on the maintenance of civilian aircraft.

Hello Prajwal,
Presently India is witnessing a great boom in aviation sector with passengers traffic increasing by almost 15% and many airlines placing orders for aircraft. This has to result in good job opportunities in the aviation sector. As against this jobs in IT sector are expected to decline due to AI. Hence, I would advise you to go for IAE.

Hello Aadil,
Actually, the most important thing is to know what you desire. What is your passion, etc. You have an option of seeking a job. Or go for three engineering via lateral admission. But it will cost you about Rs.3-5 L. If you have funds and need not start working immediately then this is the way. But if you are short on finance then pick up job.

Hi Hardik,
Aeronautical engineering is one of the skilled shortage lists in New Zealand so the profession is in demand. To get the most out of it you must enroll into a top university having strong corporate tie-ups.
