Hello Thulasi,
Almost, all older NITs offer this branch of engineering. The new ones are expected to do it shortly. Simultaneously, there are many private colleges which too offer this course.

Both B.Tech CSE and B.Tech aeronautical engineering are equally good branches. Aeronautical engineering is a niche sector specific branch with limited job opportunities in Indian Private sectors. A majority of jobs for aeronautical engineers are in PSU, DRDO, ISRO and Indian Air Force. Where CSE graduates are employed by all industries as the computer is a facilitating technology in all industries. India is computer applications outsourcing hub with lots of opportunities for fresh graduates. Therefore, on the basis of opportunities and scope, CSE is a better option. PEC University, Chandigarh and IIST are the best engineering institutes for B.Tech in aeronautical engineering after IITs. Admission in both the institutes is based on JEE Mains.

Hello Yash,
IITs do not give lateral admission but diploma is considered equivalent to 12th and hence, if you have scored more than 75 % in diploma, you can appear for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced for admission in IIT.

Hello Iranna,
I understand and appreciate your interest in pursuing Aeronautical Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. RV College of Engineering does have management quota seats. But, being the top rated college in Bangalore, the rates are much higher (approx. over 10 lakhs). The other way to secure admission in the college is by appearing for COMEDK entrance examination and securing a rank of less than 300.

Hello Shukla,
The best college for PG in aeronautical engineering is IISc in Bangalore. After this, IIT's followed by NIT's. After this, there are some private colleges.
