There are various colleges across India from where you can pursue aeronautical engineering but to get the best college, appear for national level entrance like JEE, BITSAT, MHTCET etc

Aeronautical Engineers are trained to work for design & development of aerial systems such as aircraft, helicopters , unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles and guided weapons & their components . They also work in manufacturing, operation and Maintenance of above mentioned systems.

Look for a private college that might give you admission in management quota though 51% is too low. You can also try for diploma in mechanical engineering and if you score well in next 3 years of it, take a lateral entry for the degree.

Amity University has excellent facilities and faculty for Aeronautical Engineering. Faculty consist of imminent retired scientists from DRDO and ISRO. It also has Ex Indian Air Force officers in faculty. It has a very good placement record. I will recommend Amity University for Aeronautical Eng

IIT Mumbai, IIST, PEC University Chandigarh, Amity University and Manipal university are best options for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering in the order of precedance.

civil engineering has a vast exposure w.r.t aeronautical engineering.it has much more scope so I think civil engineering would be the best strean to choose.all the best!

AME syllabus is more aligned for aircraft servicing and Maintenance. AME restricts your career to aircraft maintenance engineering roles only whereas Aeronautical Engineering has wider scope. It syllabus includes both principle of Aeronautical Engineering, design of aircraft and it's operation an

Please mention whether you have qualified JEE Main or JEE Advance because to get the best college for aeronautical engineering, you need to get through JEE Advance . Currently IIT Bombay is the best.
