Amity University has excellent facilities and faculty for Aeronautical Engineering. Faculty consist of imminent retired scientists from DRDO and ISRO. It also has Ex Indian Air Force officers in faculty. It has a very good placement record. I will recommend Amity University for Aeronautical Engineering.

IIT Mumbai, IIST, PEC University Chandigarh, Amity University and Manipal university are best options for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering in the order of precedance.

civil engineering has a vast exposure w.r.t aeronautical engineering.it has much more scope so I think civil engineering would be the best strean to choose.all the best!

IIT Mumbai, IIST, PEC University Chandigarh, MIT Manipal university and Amity University are recommended for Aeronautical Engineering in terms of faculty and other parameters.

AME syllabus is more aligned for aircraft servicing and Maintenance. AME restricts your career to aircraft maintenance engineering roles only whereas Aeronautical Engineering has wider scope. It syllabus includes both principle of Aeronautical Engineering, design of aircraft and it's operation and maintenance. Please mention whether you have qualified JEE Main or JEE Advance because to get the best college for aeronautical engineering, you need to get through JEE Advance . Currently IIT Bombay is the best.

Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering are niche branches of Engineering. AE engineers are employed in DRDO , ISRO, Aeronautical manufacturing companies and their ancillaries, Airlines, Indian Air Force, IT companies with Engineering vertical, R&D units and acedmics. AE graduates also are able to get in Western countries.

Aeronautics Engineering has a good scope in future because there are lots of developments going in aviation and aerospace field. Also India's aerospace agency is growing at good heights by launching various satellites and NASA recent voyage to Jupiter is also a success till now. The development in both fields are tremendous and good career options are likely to develop in this field.

If you have the required qualification and skills you can. Very high grades will be required. Check NASA and ISRO website for careers and requirements, see what type of profiles they hire. Nobody else can say if you will get a job, it will depend on your qualifications, potential and interview.
