B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering is a 4 years degree course. You can also do interdisciplinary M.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering after B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics engineering. Fees will vary from college to college.

Bangalore is hub Indian Aeronautical industry. You can easily find job as Aeronautical Engineer in HAL, DRDO, Mid size aeronautical companies, Avionics software development companies, MNC R&D centres. Training of Indian Air Force engineers in Aeronautical Engineering also takes place in Bangalore.

Nafish, Aeronautical engineering is an upcoming specialization in the field of mechanical . It is a sub branch of Aerospace Engineering along with Astronautical Engineering.
Aeronautical Engineering specializes in aircrafts, missiles and helicopters. A lot of companies hire aeronautical engineers for the construction of aircrafts, for efficiency testing, flight testing etc, for the design purposes, for the maintenance, functioning & manufacturing of aircrafts, for investigation of crashes, impact on environment etc, as air traffic controllers.

1.Unlike other engineering programs you do not get a degree or diploma after completion of course. This is a certification course.
2.During the course one is trained to clear the licence exams conducted by DGCA (governing body for aviation) apart from the regular exams conducted by college.
3.Clearing of the Gov license exams are mandatory (pass Mark is 70%) to becomean engineer.
4.Completion of the course of 3 years does not satisfy the requirements to be an engineer & may need to work as an aircraft technician for aminimumof 2 additional years on any aircraft.

You can do Aeronautical Engineering specialisation after Mechanical engineering graduation also but I will recommend that you do B.Tech AE and then do super specialisation at M.Tech. You can evaluate IIT Powai, PEC University Chandigarh, IIST, Manipal university, Amity University etc. Amity has 5 year integrated M.Tech program in Aerospace Engineering and it is a very well recived in industry.
