The Inter transfer in Polytechnics are very common and you can get the transfer very easily. Please meet your HOD or Principal regarding this and tell him the issues related to transfer. He will definitely take necessary action regarding this.

GATE is not for undergraduate courses. It is for PG. You have got only 48% marks. My sincere advise is to leave obsession with engineering and look for something different. Go with your passion. Commerce, arts, fine arts, there are different courses that you can choose.

The B.E. admission in MIT Madras are based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission(TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University. The other state candidates are also eligible for TNEA.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 Std. Or their equivalent from educational organisations located outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They must include a duplicate copy of Nativity Certificate only in the form of a soft copy/ digitally signed e-Certificate.
Eligibility criteria : Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in 12th class in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
