The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. The time for the BTech Aeronautical Engg. entrance exam preparation is not fixed; it rather depends on the student preparing for the same. In general, it is always better to start as early as possible, at least 6 to 8 months before the final exam date, so that you can cover all the sections in the syllabus and have enough time for revision.
Covering all the topics and revising well in advance will increase your chances of getting a good score and rank in the exam, further increasing your chances of getting shortlisted. 

Candidates who have a valid score in the JEE Advanced and JEE Main exams are eligible for both the BTech and BTech+Mtech degree at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Further, candidates are required to qualify for the eligibility criteria, i.e twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate from a recognised institution (The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD candidates should be at least 65%). Qualified candidates must complete the IIST admission procedure and finalised their seats.

There are no IITs that provide Aeronautical Engineering. The best IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur) offer Aerospace Engineering, which is a bigger system than Aeronautical Engineering (including both aircraft and spacecraft).
