The total number of seat intake capacity is very limited in the BArch course at Ganga Institute of Architecture and Town Planning. Only 40 seats are available for the students to take admission. The limited seats make the process of admission competitive.

GIATP BArch course admission is available in two modes, direct and merit based. The students seeking admission should learn about the eligibility criteria set by the college for taking admission. The important dates for students would be the application deadlines of the college, dates pertaining to NATA and the Class 12 result dates.

For being eligible to confirm admission in the BArch course at GIATP, students must have passed their Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 50% aggregate overal. It is also important to fetch minimum og 50% as combined aggregate of the three compulsory subjects, that is, Physics. Chemistry and Mathematics. Addtionally, it is preferred to that the student must appear and qualify NATA.

Candidates seeking admission to the five year BArch course must apply for the same through NATA. Candidates who clear the cutoff are given an offer for admission. The final shortlist of selected candidates is set to release on 7 Jul 2025. Candidates who have appeared for NATA will be considered for the final shortlist.
Candidates must pay the required fee to secure their seat once they have received the final admission offer.

Yes, the institute offers scholarships for BArch students aiming for admission to MIT School of Architecture. It provides a 50% EWS scholarship on total fees as per Maharashtra Government norms for 10% of the admitted intake. Additionally, students who contribute through research papers or similar academic work are also eligible for scholarships based on their merit and contributions.

To be eligible for BArch at MIT School of Architecture, students must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and secured at least 50% marks from a recognised board. Alternatively, students with a 10+3 Diploma recognised by central/state governments with Mathematics as a compulsory subject can also apply.
