Candidates applying for the NIFT Hyderabad BFTech course must visit the official website of NIFT to register for the entrance test. NIFT Hyderabad BFTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam comprising a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates on the basis of GAT test scores are then required to appear for the counselling process by NIFT for BFTech admission.

NIFT Hyderabad only accepts the scores of the NIFT entrance exam for admissions to the BFTech course. The institute does not accept the score of UCEED for admission to BFTech courses. However, UCEED is widely accepted into several institutions, which offer undergraduate courses in Designing.  Hence, if a candidate is planning to get admissions into NIFT Hyderabad or any NIFT, they are required to prepare for NIFTEE, not for UCEED.

The total number of BFTech seats offered by NIFT Hyderabad is 48; on the other hand, the total number of seats offered by NIFT Bangalore for the BFTech course is 45. Hence, the number of seats in the BFTech course provided by the NIFT Hyderabad is higher. The eligibility criteria and selection process for BFTech courses in both institutions are similar, in which firstly, candidates are required to qualify for their Class 12 from the PCM stream and appear in the NIFT entrance exam- GAT.

The tuition fee for BFTech courses at NIFT Hyderabad ranges from INR 6.1 Lacs to INR 12.3 lakh, and the tuition fee for BFTech at NIFT Kolkata ranges from INR 5.5 Lacs to INR 12.3 lakh. Conclusively, the tuition fees of NIFT Kolkata are more affordable than NIFT Hyderabad. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing these colleges but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.

The fee amount mentioned is sourced from the offic

Currently, NIFT Hyderabad has not released the cutoff for the BFTech in Apparel Production course 2025 on the basis of NIFTEE ranks/scores. However, to get an idea about the competitiveness of the cutoff in the previous years, candidates can check the below table:

Course202220232024
BFTech in Apparel Production323570530

In conclusion, the table shows that when comparing the years 2023 and 2024, the competition increases and the ranks decrease.  Candidates should therefore anticipate a competitive cutoff for this year. However, it is difficult to determine with certainty if the ranks for the cutoff increase or decrease.

While preparing a cutoff for the NIFT Hyderabad BFTech course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of the NIFT Hyderabad BFTech course—previous years' cutoff trends, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of qualified candidates, the total number of candidates applying for a specific course, the number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the NIFT Hyderabad BFTech cutoff for BFTech admission
