There are only 15% government college seats allowed through ICAR exam. The cut-off seems to increase with each passing year and the growing popularity of the course. But for general category, 60% marks will assure to get a good college all over India.

Hi,
As you are currently pursuing hotel management from IHM Gwalior, I would strongly suggest you not to go for any entrance exam of Oberoi or Taj for graduation. Focus on completing your B.Sc degree from IHM Gwalior and in the final year do appear for OCLD and HDP (management trainee programme of both the hotels respectively). If you couldn't get through any one of these try for OCER and hot, but do not waste a year, it's not worth.

Hi,
MBA in hotel management is a PG course and can be done only after completing graduation. However, B.Sc in hotel management is a graduation course. If you want to make your career in hospitality industry then B.Sc in hotel management from a good IHM is enough and if you want to expand your knowledge base you can anytime go for an MBA in hospitality. If you are currently in 12th and looking after making your career in hospitality industry go for a B.Sc in hotel management.

It is September now. Most colleges closed their admission in August, and register their candidates before September. It would be best to contact the college.

You are not eligible for B.Sc Food Nutrition, as you must have had Biology or Chemistry in class 12th. You can pursue Home Science, and can later choose Nutrition for Post-Graduation.
