Your admission chances don't depend only on your academics. Yes, scoring high in 12th class will definitely help you but you will have to prepare for SAT and score really well in it as well.

Hi Vag,
You will be eligible to apply with a valid IELTS score. Good GRE score will definitely help. Admission decisions are taken by the university, so we cannot really say anything, but you have a good chance. Letters of reference and personal statement will be very important. Check for deadlines and apply on time.

Hi Patel, you must first meet requirements specific to the program you want to study and the university. Check with the college if they will accept 5.5 , in most case they won't. Even if they do you might face visa rejection. So enquire with the college directly. You can apply for the visa after you have the admission offer from the college.

If you mean 40 lacs a year then yes you can but if you are thinking to complete the full course then you are mistaken. per year tuition can be about $30000. Then you need to think about living expenses too.

NYIT is not a university but an institute. Usually, people prefer university education. However, if your grades are not very high or in case finances, time are issues, its not a bad idea to look at NYIT. It has global presence as campuses are located at various places. Placement is assisted but not guaranteed.
