Hi Anjali,
I would like to know which program are you planning to apply for. GRE is not mandatory in Canadian universities. Although it is going to enhance your admission chances if you plan to take it.

This is not true. Availability of job is dependant on the area of study. The student's exposure to industry during the study. Also, it is very important to involve in various networking forums to find potential employers even while you are in school. Having a previous professional experience will come handy.

5.5 in each or in one module? If in one module, try applying to Fanshawe College (Practical Elements of Mechanical Engineering), Lakehead University (MS Mechanical Engineering).
