B.Pharma is a Bachelors course with 4 years as duration and average fee would be Rs.3.5 Lacs to 6.5 Lacs for the whole course. 12th with PCB subjects pass is the eligibility. Candidate would become Pharmacists at medicals stores after this course with an average salary of Rs.18,000 to 35,000 for experienced. M.Pharma is a Masters course with B.Pharma is the eligibility and 2 years is the duration. Candidates may become senior pharmacists after this course. Usual fe ranging from Rs.2 Lacs to 4 Lacs. The eligibility criteria of Drug Inspector is given below: Educational qualifications:
1. B.Pharma or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology/ Microbiology.
2. Additional 18 months experience in manufacturing or testing of Schedule C or C1 drugs is also asked in UPSC but is not essential. The above qualifications are applicable for state services also but you should also be familiar with the local language and customs. Many states currently do not require any experience after B.Pharma to apply for Drug Inspector post like Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Kerala, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
