You cannot get the main campus of SRM University with a rank of 48000 but you can get all the other campuses of SRM including those in Tamil Nadu.

You can also apply for single window counselling under Anna university.
The official website is www.annauniv.edu (TNEA 2017) through other state quota.
The applications for your quota will be opened later i think. you please refer the website for further details.
