Oh yes, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied research (PSG iTech) which comes under the PSG College of Technology group has a B.Tech. course in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This is a 4-year undergraduate course with the capacity of intake being 60 students The course started in the 2022-23 academic year. It is mainly through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) the students are admitted.

For the OBC category students, the maximum NCHMCT JEE 2026 cutoff rank required for Round 1 admission was 5465 for the Taramani campus and 7692 for the Tirupati campus. Hence, students must target a cutoff rank of up to 7500 and below to get an admission chance at IHM Chennai.

Get admission to NIT Trichy without JEE Main through:

- Postgraduate programs (M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA) via GATE, CAT, or NITT's own tests

- PhD programs with GATE/NET qualification

- Special programs or lateral entry for Diploma holders or those with relevant work experience

The cut-off for the integrated M.Tech programme at VIT Vellore varies every year, but it generally requires a top VITEEE rank within twenty thousand to thirty thousand. For specialised branches like CSE, the cut-off can be even higher. Counselling rounds and category seats also influence the final cut-off.

Core/non CSE specialisations at Chennai, AP, Bhopal campuses are realistic: Mechanical, EEE, ECE (borderline), Civil, Chemical, Production, and CSE adjacent specialisations (Data Science/AI) may slip away in Cat 1 but can appear in higher categories. Vellore CSE is out. If fees matter, lock Category 1/2 in a solid non CSE branch, then aim for internal branch change (performance based) after the first year.
