Yes, CIET Coimbatore has been recognised as one of the fine private Engineering Institutes in the state of Tamil Nadu. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has certified CIET as an autonomous institution. In addition, Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and is a part of the Institution's Innovation Council. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded Grade-A to CIET Coimbatore.

The cutoff for Einstein College of Engineering Tirunelveli varies depending on the course and the admission process (TNEA or other). For TNEA, the cutoff rank for B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, for the general AI category, was between 55959 and 192145 in 2024, with the first round cutoff at 8048.

Admission to the Einstein College of Engineering can be moderately competitive. The college offers only BTech, MBA, and MTech courses. Admission to all these courses are done based on the scores obtained in entrance exams such as TANCET exam for MBA and GATE for MTech. To be eligible for these exams, the candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks in previous qualificaton in a relevant stream.
