The eligibility criteria to get admissions into the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering course at Osmania University are almost similar to other specialisations offered in undergraduate engineering courses at Osmania University. Candidates should have completed their Class 12 equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, with an aggregate of 45%. Additionally, for admission to BTech courses, candidates must qualify in the TS EAMCET conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

Getting admission in MNIT totally depends on your rank, reservation and branch. For getting seat in MNIT, you should score above 98 percentile for general category student. So, it depends on reservation category and you have scored 87 percentile which is good and you have good chances of getting seat in MNIT in some branches.

JIIT Noida offers admission to various BTech/Integrated BTech specialisations on the basis of JEE Main ranks and Jaypee LEET percentage. BTech in CSE was the most in-demand specialisation for admission to the college. To get admission to BTech in CSE on the basis of JEE Main exam, General AI category candidate must have a rank of 59706 or above. 

To get BTech in CSE via Jaypee LEET, General AI category candidate must have a minimum percentage of 96.  

Assuming You have a rank ~40k to ~55k, It is Not possible in general category if you are aiming for top NITs or IIITs . You may have  limited options with lower branches but  not CSE and definately not best nit's. It is possible to get into some good NITs and IIITs if you are from a  sc (scheduled caste) or st(scheduled tribe.

Top BTech CSE colleges in Bhubaneswar are KIIT, SOA University, CET Bhubaneswar, IIIT Bhubaneswar, and CV Raman Global University.

Other good options include GITA College, GIFT, NIST, Trident Academy, and Silicon Institute.

The JEE Mains (Common Rank List - CRL) cutoff of last year (2024) for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) for General category Home State candidates varied between around rank 63 and rank 1710 in the last round of seat allotment. This cutoff applies to Home State quota and General category candidates. Cutoffs differ based on category and quota.

At least 50% marks at the class 12 qualifying examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects.

Certainly, you can get admission at 800 rank at IIT Bhubaneshwar for CSE course. CSE is the most competitive course with the lowest cutoff rank in 2023 at IIT Bhubaneswar. So, the needed cutoff for the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 1134 which is more than the rank acquire by you. So, you have the fair chance to enroll in the course at IIT Bhubaneswar.
