To get excellent marks in the M.Tech CSE entrance exam and get a seat at a top-ranked college, you must start preparing for the exam at least 8 to 10 months before the final exam is supposed to take place. This allows you to have enough time for revision and cover most of the exam syllabus portion.

To get Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in a National Institute of Technology (NIT), aim for a minimum percentile of 95+ for general category and 80+ for reserved categories. 

The IIT Kharagpur accepts JEE Advanced exam for the admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses. Taking into consideration the IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2023, the JEE Advanced cutoff for B.Tech.
