The best college under CUET UG depends on the candidate's course preference. However, top CUET colleges include Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University known for their Arts, Science and Commerce courses. There are no prescribed marks for CUET passing criteria. Once candidate has appeared for the exam, candidates must apply for CUET counselling on official website of desired university. Based on counselling applications and CUET score, accepting universities will release the CUET cutoffs. CUET UG exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test Mode. The examination is scheduled in multiple slots depending on the number of registrations for CUET. In this mode of examination, candidates are required to appear for exam online and answer the questions on deskptop with the help of mouse.

Once National Testing Agency has issued the CUET intimation slip or admit card, the request for change in exam centre will not be entertained. Candidates cannot change the exam city or alloted exam centre once the CUET admit cards are released. Candidates must report at the allotted centre on given date and time.

Common University Entrance Test UG 2026 admit cards will be issued 2-3 days before the exam date. With the CUET 2026 exam scheduled tentatively between May 11 and May 31, 2026, it is expected that CUET hall ticket 2026 will be released tentatively by May 08, 2026. Candidates can know the alloted exam centre address, exam dates and slot timings on release of the admit card.

CUET UG 2026 advance city slips will be released tentatively in last week of April 2026. NTA issues the city intimation slips approximately 10 days before the exam date. CUET UG 2026 exam will be held tentatively between May 11 and May 31, 2026. NTA will release the CUET intimation slip 2026 in multiple phases. Only registered candidates will be able to download CUET 2026 city slip online.

Jamia also accepts CUET UG score for admission to some undergraduate courses. So, candidates who are appearing for CUET exam must first check the admission and eligibility requirements of Jamia Millia Islamia University to know whether JMI accepts CUET score or JMI score for a particular exam.

Common University Entrance Test is compulsory for admission to the undergraduate programme of central universities.
