Fundamentals of structure
Theory of Design
Freehand Drawing and geometric construction

Hi Nivedita, The candidate must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications to be considered eligible for admissions in NID:
Bachelor's degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialisation, after 10+2 system, from any university or institute recognised by law in India.
Condition: Applicant must (have passed/have appeared for/be appearing for) the Bachelor degree examinations before July 2018.
or
Bachelor's degree of minimum 3-year duration in any specialisation, under the 10+2 system.
Condition: Applicants must have passed the Bachelor degree examinations before July 2017.
or
Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duratio

B.Sc desgree course in Interior Design is affiliated to Annamalai University which is in Chennai. It is one of the oldest and most reputed University in India.

Hi Athul,
Some institutes do allow 10th passed students to pursue Diploma and certificate courses in interior design. But the quality of such courses is not too good. It is very important to have a good foundation. That is why I would recommend you to undergo 10+1 and 10+2 classes. After that, you may study a good degree or Diploma in interior design courses.
