Hi Riya!
It is definitely possible but each fashion institute has its own eligibility criteria. Some may allow admission to a candidate hailing from any educational background while others would prefer a candidate who has done graduation in design field itself. You will have to check the criteria of all the colleges that you are interested in. For example: Pearl Academy will not consider your application for the Masters programme but NID and NIFT would accept the application as the admission criteria is solely dependent on how you perform in the entrance exam. You only need to know the right colleges to apply and their entrance criteria. Once you have completed your 12th from a recognised board of education, you can apply to various design exams. Most design colleges conduct a general aptitude test and creative ability test that determine a candidate's admission. The general ability test includes multiple choice questions related to mathematics, logical reasoning, English language and general awareness. Creative ability test, on the other hand, is meant to see your creativity, observation, imagination by way of your drawings and sketching. Hence, you need to practice all of the ab

The fee structure of NIFT is same for UG as well as PG course. It is approximately 2 Lacs per year and the total fee of the course is around 9 Lacs. Unfortunately, you cannot apply for MA in fashion designing course at Pearl Academy unless you have a 3 years work experience in fashion/textiles industry. Otherwise, a candidate who has pursued a Bachelors degree or Diploma in fashion or textile design with at least 2 years of experience in fashion/textiles industry is only eligible to apply.

Hello Shivani, Its not impossible but quite tough to go for an undergraduate course abroad. But I feel you should complete your Diploma in Fashion Design, do internship, gain practical experience and then think of going to Canada. Almost all western countries admit students only in sphere wherein they feel shortage of talent.
