another option available is to do automobile engineering and specialise in designing. this is the most likely recommended option.

Yes, you can study literally anything you want if you are truly interested in it. You can pursue interior designing however for admissions universities will ask for a portfolio or sample of your work. Go for it if you are interested to have a career in interior designing and if you believe you have the creative side in you.

The minimum percentage to get admission into a regular college,you must have 50% in 12th. So you may take admission into a distance course.
