Yes, you should pursue the degree course now, but since you have already obtained diploma I don't think you need a B.Tech degree and you can apply for masters.

Hi, You are not eligible to take admission in NIT but you are eligible for IIT. Diploma holders are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.Tech or B.E. through LEET exam. LEET exam is conducted for Diploma holders who want to get admission in B.E or B.tech courses. This is national level exam. But you can also apply for state level exam. Good Luck.

Yes, you can do aeronautical engineering after mechanical Diploma. There are colleges that provide admission on basis of your marks in Diploma and 10+2 examination. So, you need to choose a college where you want to take admission and then check the eligibility criteria of that college by visiting the website of that specific college.
