You have not write about your Diploma stream like Civil engineering, Interior design or Architectural etc. However if you have completed your 3 years of Diploma in Civil engineering, Interior design or Architectural, than you can get lateral admission in LPU in B. Des or B.Sc. (Interior and Furniture) courses.

B. Des in Textile or B.Tech in Textile are the best options after Diploma in Textile. The following are the colleges in Rajasthan offering the B.Tech Textile Engineering course.

On 10th percentage basis you will be able to get admission in first year diploma in many branch but you not able to get admission in mechanical engineering and civil engineering. As per your 12th percentage which is 54 you have to be lucky enough or else you can wait till last CAP round or counselling round.

A student who has completed his/her 10+2 education with minimum 60% aggregate marks and is from the Science and maths background can take up a Diploma course in engineering which is of one year and then can directly take admission to the B.Tech after Diploma. As a friend I would suggest you to first complete your BCA as you have already dedicated your 1 valuable year to it. Also, there are very few good institutes offering a Journalism course at Bachelor level.
