Durham is considered a good place to live for international students. Described by locals as the 'green state', there's tons of things to do for students in North Carolina. There are many outdoor spaces, & multiple walking & hiking trails for students to visit. The food scene is pretty diverse with multiple great food places to hang out with friends at including: Mad Hatters Cafe, JuJu Durham, Press Coffeee & Enzo's Pizza among others.
